Ag Order 4.0 requires that the Primary Irrigation Well for each enrolled ranch be sampled between March 1 and May 31 of 2022. The Ag Order also requires that every Domestic Well located on an enrolled ranch be sampled during this time. After completing the registration form below, the individual(s) you designate will be contacted by one of our samplers to confirm timing, access, and other details. Upon successful sample collection, you will need to make a payment as follows:
Primary Irrigation Wells – $160 per well
On-Farm Domestic Wells – $225 per well
Optional Irrigation Suitability – $55* per irrigation well (only if requested by grower)
*If desired by the grower, field sample collectors will submit sufficient bottles to the laboratory to support a full “Irrigation Suitability” analysis. The cost is an additional $55 in Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Benito, and San Mateo counties. The following additional analysis will be included: Alkalinity, Bicarbonate, Boron, Calcium, Carbonate, Chloride, Conductivity, Hardness, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Nitrate, pH, Potassium, SAR (Sodium Absorption Ratio) & Adjusted SAR, Sodium, Sulfate, TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).
