Third-Party Participation Fees
Preservation, Inc. strives to keep fees at a minimum for its members. Fees are determined annually by a group of growers and industry specialists called the Ag Committee. Individuals on the Ag Committee represent all major commodities and sub-regions of the Central Coast.
Operations that lapse in membership are subject to a reinstatement fee in addition to current year membership fees in order to re-join the Third-Party program. This fee is based on the number of years the operation was not a member and current year membership fee rates.

Irrigated acres monitoring fee: $6.53/acre

Tailwater acres fee: $6.53/acre

Administration fee (based on total irrigated acres):
- Less than 50 acres = $99.00 flat rate
- 50-500 acres = $1.17/acre
- 500+ acres = $695.00 flat rate for first 500 acres + $0.33/acre over 500
- State Group-rate fee: $1.50/acre

State Fees
The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) charges an annual fee to all dischargers.
For growers enrolled in a Third-Party group, this fee has been set by the SWRCB at $1.50/acre.
Growers that are not members of a Third-Party group are enrolled as Individuals in the Ag Order. This fee is $37.40 per acre up to 300 acres, plus $18.71 per acre over 300, with a minimum fee of $710.
