In coordination with the Central Coast Regional Water Board, funding is available to cover the cost of annual well sampling for on-farm domestic and/or dual-purpose wells for operations that meet the following criteria:
- Current member of Preservation, Inc.
- Household income at or below the “Low Income” category for their county of residence, based on California Department of Housing and Community Development’s (HCD) mandated State Income Limits.
- Submit fee waiver request form within 90 days of well sample date.
Refer to this 2025 HCD Income Limits chart. Eligibility is based on the actual number of persons in the household and total of gross income for all persons. For households larger than eight persons, instructions are on the last page to calculate your household income.
