Third-Party members must use Preservation, Inc.’s contracted field technicians and laboratories. If you haven’t heard from us or been sampled already, you will receive an email from Preservation, Inc. indicating the week for which sampling is planned in your area. Closer to the scheduled week, a sampling technician will make 3 attempts to contact you to determine an exact sampling date and time that work for you. (We will also provide contact information for a well sampling technician should you wish to contact them first.)

Please review the Operation-level contact information in your eNOI form on GeoTracker to make sure that all contact information is correct and up to date… this is the information we will use to contact you about well sampling.

Please also review your active ranches and the well counts for each type of well on each ranch – if this information does not match what is collected in the field and reported on your behalf, you are at risk of being found non-compliant with the Ag Order.

Please log in to your ranch eNOI(s) and update the numbers of Dual Purpose, Domestic (only), and Agricultural (irrigation-only) wells on each ranch.

123-TCP Sampling Fee – $80

Records Correction Fee – $50 will be added per well if the sampling requested does not match the operation’s eNOI, or if the well location does not match GeoTracker. 

Late Sampling Fee (after May 31st) – $50 per well in addition to the regular per well fee.

To request a prior year well sampling report, please email wells@ccwqp.org with you AW number, AGL or ranch name, and the report year that you are requesting. 

Per Ag Order 4.0, ALL on-farm domestic wells must be sampled in March-May of 2026.  The samples must be analyzed by an ELAP-certified laboratory, and reported directly to GeoTracker.  Well owners/operators must also provide laboratory results to well users within 3 days of receipt.

Third-Party Members will be notified in early 2026 about their well sampling appointments (following notification, request to change the well sampling appointment should be sent to wells@ccwqp.org). 

Per Ag Order 4.0, the primary irrigation well from EVERY ranch must be sampled in March-May of 2026.  The samples must be analyzed by an ELAP-certified laboratory, and reported directly to GeoTracker.

Under Ag Order 4.0, all operations are required to submit a TNA or INMP report on the 2026 crop year by March 1st, 2027. Your TNA or INMP report must provide the nitrate concentration from the primary irrigation well on each ranch.

Samples collected to meet the above “Irrigation Well Sampling Requirements” will also meet the TNA reporting requirement for the subsequent year.  However, since the TNA reporting deadline is generally March 1^st, growers must use a previously-collected well sample to complete this section of the TNA report.  Subsequently, growers can use the 2026 primary irrigation well sample to complete any TNA reports that are due by March 1^st of 2027.
